A birthday party, the crowd of New Year '04-'05 foraged from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Barcelona, in a townhouse in Barcelona... All lit in red. After being a good boy for a fair amount of time the pressure of the Great Boomscluppe has been building within my soul. It is 6.32pm on Sunday. The fluffy dice gave me snake eyes and the rest of the journey has been in a tail spin.

Edinburgh Fastival came and went with fantastic audiences and a hectic schedule of shows. Watching, not performing. It was quite a refreshing change to see someone else sweat their pants off for my entertainment. I only had two shows to do myself and decided to make an effort to see as much as possible on the International Festival and the Fringe. Trusting my intuition waws a fairly good choice and kept the itinerary very diverse and entertaining. One of the highlights was definitely Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolfe III. He rewarded me for my heckling efforts with a wristband saying: "What would Charlie Sheen do?" I took it to heart and let Mr Sheen's spirit posses me. Poledancing with breakdancers is quite special.

On Tuesday is the first night of the company's small scale national tour in Perth. For the next month and a bit we'll be touring in the backwoods of Scotland. The circus comes into town and everybody and their dog cram themselves into the church hall to oggle at the showhorses. It'll be an interesting departure from the big theatres.

It is still Sunday and I've only got to be at work at 1.30pm on Monday. Time to don the tux and go suck some oysters of some lovely lady's belly.
