dream commission
A trip back to Argentina has been on the cards for some time. It’s not just about gathering information or planning the big trip in detail but will mark my first steps towards winning and formalising sponsorship. I’ve been invited to discuss sponsorship with a prominent wine grower but need to win enough commissions to justify the time and cost of the trip in the event that the sponsorship doesn't come through.

Commissions rarely come from thin air and I’ve been sending pitches to the editors of a variety of media. I’ve had some good responses and commissions include requirements for hotel reviews, wine related pieces, spa reviews and reviews of tango shows in Buenos Aires. What’s more, LuxuryLatinAmerica.com has commissioned me to write a piece on “tango in Buenos Aires where money is no object”. It’s a dream commission but quite a challenge as the really exclusive services are neither advertised nor part of an easily available menu.
It’s going to be fun.
