expressions and manifestations..........
I Knew Him, I Know Him
Sitting in the space, contemplating
endless scenarios, unfinishing many
internal debates, acting and repeating
the mundane activity and finally
exhaling the last puff of the second
to last cigarette. What to do after
the last one runs out. You need to escape,
do something. The kettle goes on,
a milkless tea, a shave with the leftover
heated water from the kettle.
It becomes a friend, a comrade,
still connected, still upright, somehow
still producing heat after all these years.
All shaven, back to the door,
a step provides solace, still solid, unmoving.
The world goes on, The walkers keep walking,
The sun keeps shifting, Where do they all go?
What have they to do? Sofa? Ah
that familiar smell, texture, it feels good here.
One day I'll walk. One day.
Flick, inhale....... Ah, the good old days.

Who Cares
Who is he, Who is she, Who are they
Can we judge, Can we praise, Do they care
Is it real, Is it fake, Is it art
Can they speak, Do they speak, Do we care
We can look, We can crit, We can spit
Does it stick, Does it fade, Do I care
It was boring, It was shit, Waste of time
That was sweet, So unique, So sublime
They're allright, They've got it all, Is it fare
I can fall, I can flop, Will I fail
Can I try, I will try, I do care.

In Flight
Like a dragonfly, flying,
final flight of a phoenix, dying.
It's purpose, clear and domineering,
heart pounding, wildly unstopping, persevering.
In search of that interior,
feelings inside, outside, so unclear.
Instinct is driver,
body is passenger, unfamiliar.
Surrender to the flight,
swiftly in the breeze.
Speed beneath the wings,
high flying at ease.
Breathe in, breathe out,
breathe breathe hold.
Flying low, Flying high,
flying flying bold.
