What's Been Going On

Hey all. Sorry its been so long since my last entry. Things have been very hectic. The last four weeks have just flown by. So, where to start. The last time I was on here we were just about to perform at the Linbury. The show went really well even though we were under a lot of pressure. There were lots of important people there who we wanted to impress and we managed to. Since then we have had lots of shows which have been going really well and we have had really good audiences. I have been lucky enough as well to dance the Prince in Cinderella thats been really good fun. Its a really nice pas de deux and its a really good role to get into. We have also been on another tour that went really well and we had really high audiences. Whilst all this has been going on we have also had to hand in all of our written work which has been really stressful. But its now all out the way and its all handed in!!Yay!!! I have also had the chance to take class with Matthew Bourne's New Adventures company which has been really good fun and a good experience. Anyway better go and pack as we are of on tour again tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes when we get back. Speak soon x

after linbury and another tour...

hi! Quite a lot has happened since I wrote last, we had our performance at the Linbury ROH which was brilliant! Apparently the show went really well and people were impressed...always a good thing! We were especially nervous because loads of people were watching who had coached us; Dierdre Chapman, Ricardo Cevera and Martin Harvey taught us Puert a Beul and they came backstage afterwards to say well done. Amy Hollingworth was there and all sorts of other amazing inspiring people who we hoped were impressed with us! After the show I hardly slept at all because I went to Rome the next morning for an audition and had to wake up at 3.45am!!!!! Seriously not fun, but when I got to Rome with another girl from Ballet Central, Lucy Kemp, it was well worth it! The weather was gorgeous and we went to see the colloseum and the trevi fountain...beautiful! The audition was fine and I got offered the chance to study for another year, which I'm not accepting, but just the chance to go to Rome was good enough for me! We all came back from the tour to Grantham, Shewsbury and Hereford, which was hard because they were consecutive performances! It was the first tour when we performed each day and apparently they were all really good performances, but we were all knackered by the end of it. Before we went off on tour we handed in the final section of our degree work...I'm freeeeeeeee!!!! Had the most relaxing weekend ever after I got home on Saturday, was wonderful! We're off again down South on Wednesday and then off to Scotland, so everything is madness now for the next 3 weeks! I'll try and write soon x
