Ballet Central Diary

BCTC2!!

Wow, its been a while since my last entry.. Time really does fly when your having fun!! I hereby vow to write much more often (having finally organised the internet on my laptop this should be alot easier!)

So where to begin?! Well the Ballet Central tours have absolutely amazing and such a wonderful learning experience (please excuse the cheese.. it really has been wicked)! The longer of the two tours to Liverpool, Hexham and Colwyn Bay (BCTC2..) was particularly great because we all really started working together as a team and the level of performance, I felt, kept getting stronger and stronger as the week went on. The highlight was most definately the first performance at Hexham... The audience where so amazingly receptive and that really rubbed off on all of us. The vibe throughout the whole performance was electric (ok so the cheese appears to be taking over!). The second performance at Hexham was a little more challenging because of the vast number of noisy children in the audience... It was a real test of patience!

Celebrating my Birthday on tour was so much fun... of course we didn't have a party and didn't set off the fire alarm with candles and didn't drink any champagne... it was a very peaceful evening ;). During the day we took a de-tour to Hadrians Wall which was great, somehow we managed to loose Bec, who we then spotted from the top of the wall stood panicking by the coach in the car park! Trust Bec!!

Anyway i'm starting to ramble now... but in other news... I got a contract for next year with Ballet Basel!! Still can't quite believe it...
