Ballet Central Diary

First Diary Entry!!!!

Hello and Welcome to the exciting world of my Weblog!! Let me introduce myself to all you readers. My name is Matt Williams and i am a third yr student at Central and a member of Ballet Central. I have been at Central for the last two years and cant believe how quickly it has passed. I still remember when i first joined the school and thinking how far this time seemed away.

At the moment things are very tiring. We seem to have been rehearsing forever and the days just go on and on. Its fun but soooo tiring and everything hurts. The days are going very quickly till our first performance in March and there still seems to be so much left to do. But we have some amazing rep so it makes the rehearsals a lot more enjoyable. My favourite pieces have got to be Christopher Bruces, Linear Remains and Will Tuckett's piece. We have our first mini performance tomorrow which will be good to get some experience of performing the work, even if it is to a small audience. Even so the pressure is on as my mum is going to be there. I think she is trying to win the award of coming to see more Ballet Central this year than anyone else!!!Support thats much appreciated. Anyway i better get away as i need to rest and prepare for tomorrow. I will write again soon so look out for the next installment shortly. Its going to be an exciting few months!!!Bye

hi! hope this sets the ball rolling nicely... or might break the awfullness of looking at a bare screen with frozen fingers above a keyboard...apparently this will get easier! (emma is sitting near me intent on her masterpiece of a diary entry...have a look!)

so, a bit about me...my name is Freya, I've been at central for 2 years, in my last year with all its apprehensions, excitements and huge amounts of everything else emotional, physical etc...
The snow we've had recently has made even the most knackering days seem slightly more worthwhile...which helps!!!

At the moment we've just finished rehearsing a new work made on us and for us by the amazing man who is Christopher Bruce (of Rooster, Ghost Dances fame etc...) . He finished it yesterday and it has a brilliant ending (in my humble opinion)...you'll have to come and see it!

anyway, enough of the rehearsal chat, that can wait until i can think of anything else to talk about apart Christopher Bruce and his genius!

Guten Tag!

Oh dear. A little late in getting this entry started, well... better late than never ey?!
Not really sure where to start. hmm... so... errr... I'm Emma. Now in my final year at Central, working bloody hard I might add, but it's all worth it. We've got our first "in house" preview next Friday preparing for the Ballet Central tour which kicks off in Ilford on the 14th March.

I have brown hair..
I've lived in good-old London all my life..
I don't have any pets..
Oh... I was in the Guardian the other day (not bad huh?!)..

Incoming.. Incoming.. i have just learnt that Freya is telling porkies about my extremely "natural" style of writing.. must retaliate.
