Blandine Ebinger School of Classical Ballet & Jazz is the best!

20-40-60.gif - 1.0 KThis month, a special pull-out-and-keep memorial edition of Ebinger's Harbinger, the annual newsletter of the Blandine Ebinger School of Classical Ballet and Jazz.

star_bul.gif - 0.2 K The Blandine Ebinger School of Classical Ballet and Jazz is keen to announce the launch of the Nicolette Smumsby-Twink Peoples Memorial Trust Fund. As the millenium approaches, we find it appropriate to reflect on Twinkie's simple but strangely effective career.

With her regular appearances on the Kenneth Everett show (on BBC) she displayed to us all her remarkable versatility and tasteful sense of humour. Those television appearances enabled her to set up her scholarship scheme for children from the North, which, we are proud to say, has never been used! Her energy and creativity was boundless, as anyone who has seen the knitted ballerina covers on the Markova Toilets in Wing B can attest.

No-one could have predicted her untimely demise as well as she. A member of the MDB (Lambeth Soothsayers Association) probably only she could have predicted the appalling catastrophe with the bassoon. What better tribute to dear Twinkie, than this beautiful erection in the East Block carpark. We have commissioned eight northern people to recreate her life and transfiguration in wrought iron and ribbon. We only need another £350,000 to complete this project, to which Princess Anne has already donated a number of restaurant vouchers from The Times.

Other news

Miss Belinda Futts has requested us to announce once more that George Futts (her father) is not available to play for Grade 3 improvisation as he died last month. The RAD assures us that pupils whose exams were interrupted will be allowed to resit them in September 1999.

TRIPS!

Group booking has opened to see Sleeping Beauty on Ice - book early to avoid disappointment. This also enables us to know if we need to take two or three cars.

BOMB

Please may we remind visitors to the school to have their wrists stamped at reception when entering the building, and to sign out once they have been asked to leave. Promptness ensures safety and also complies with the new syllabus.

Email! Please remember to write a large "E" on the envelope of any letter you wish to send as email to the school.
