Ex Royal Ballet and K Company and a fine lyrical dancer with a sure technique, and a strong and generous partner, Gary is equally at home in the classical and contemporary repertoires. In addition, his stage presence and his exceptional talent for acting have allowed him to undertake demanding character parts from an early stage in his career. His ability to get under the skin of a character has enabled him to play, with total conviction, such diverse roles as Tybalt and Paris in Romeo and Juliet (especially his unforgettable performance as Paris to Sylvie Guillem’s Juliet with the Royal Ballet), Monsieur G.M. in Manon and Von Rothbart in Swan Lake.
Gary is that rare creature: an all-round artist.
