cbl_mini_logo.gif - 2.4 K Now bouncing back again following effective bankruptcy in 1996 and sporadic appearances since. A touring company who generally go to the smaller theatres and receive no Arts Council (ie government) money. They have always been small, which makes tackling the traditional ballets something of a challenge, but in their latest incarnation they are even smaller with 20 or so dancers.
There is generally much good will towards CBL but this should not cloud the issue of how good a night of ballet they can put on and critics can and do poke holes in some of their performances / productions. They can certainly put on a good show but hopefully people who see them will also have the opportunity to get to see one of the larger companies at sometime.
