The is pleased to announce that one of its students passed an exam last term. Lucy Draminmore-Bunty-Smythe (sister of Margaret, who some of you will remember for her charming, if rather long solo "The Teapot and the Chair" in the Kwikfit Wirral Ballet Festival) passed her Flags of the Commonwealth Elementary with distinction. Well done Bunts!
It has been all change in the music department! George Futts has found a new lease of life with his marvellous Kawai Dance-in-a-box Keyboard. At the touch of a switch, George can play us a bossa nova , a march or even a mischievous disco beat! But no-one could have been more surprised than George when we announced his redundancy just before Christmas. As he finished singing "Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer", Miss Wilson came up onto the stage to present him with a beautiful P45 that the children had filled in for him.

An came this month with the RAD's new Standard Operating Procedures. Will parents please note that starting this year, Summer Bun Time will start at 2.00 am on 16th February, and you should adjust your child's hair appropriately. Changes to the regulations mean that the mesh of a crocheted bun-cover must be a minimum of 2cm wide, and blue.
The memorial service for Mr & Mrs Futts will be held at Greggs Bakery, Mill Hill East on Tuesday at 12 noon. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend as we have Grade Two National classes at that time, but I hope you will join us in observing 2 bars silence during class.
Good news too for people with long hair! On to health matters, interesting research from Australia has revealed that pulling a crossover too tightly can be dangerous. Apparently, if you see blood around the waist, you may be pulling too hard on the ties. A safe guideline is to check that your daughter still has use of her leg.
We are all getting excited about this year's . Parents will be delighted to learn that Maxine Pienkowska (Miss Basildon 1974) and Stephen Hawking will be awarding the prizes and running the tombola. Miss Wilson and Ms Wuttocks are creating a tap extravaganza to the television signature tune Minder, the graduate class will be performing the delightful Two Pigeons - Mrs O'Dairgh has already made the pigeon costumes. Third year contemporary will be dancing an exciting piece about space travel, to music by Vangelis. Our surprise finale will be a pas de deux by three ex-graduates, who have taken time off from their busy performing schedule on Sealink.
