| |
Ballet.co 2005 End of the Year PollIt's the end of the year and time to reflect on whats been great for us all in dance and ballet... Record your vote and thoughts at: 2005 Voting Form See the results building up on: Ballet.co 2005 Poll Entries Page Use this thread to discuss the poll itself but NOT to record entries - you need to use the voting form for that. We will declare a winner - for the best entry, whatever that may be. I'll think of a suitable prize in the meantime. Over to you folks... GO VOTE (you know it makes sense) |

LAST EDITED ON 10-01-06 AT 12:48 PM (GMT) Only a week?! Aaaggh, have only just got back to work and haven't even had time to go through and see what I actually *saw* last year yet.So, we're literally going from Jan 1st to Dec 31st? Edit: A thought for next year occurs to me: since many people on this site are so keen on encouraging new work, perhaps we should have a specific category for best new choreography, as well as new production (which could of course be a rehash of R&J, Giselle, etc. ...)? Otherwise, I can see any new work being swamped under votes for Sleeping Beauties and the like ... |

>2 days left! > >BTW, am I the only one who has great difficulty in >differentiating between "Best Production" and "Best >Staging"? I'm finding that confusing too - please advise. Also, the Most Promising category - is this for really new dancers or can we nominate existing, well-known, dancers who are nevertheless overdue for promotion to principal? |

People should do what they think is right and appropriate in categories. That's what everybody else has done. |
