In a continuation of it's innovative marketing campaigns aimed at altering the public's perception of ballet, the ENB introduced a new form of self defence at a press conference today, it relies mainly on pressure pointes and is called Kung-Fouette.
In the photo Erina Takahashi demonstrates the Giselle technique, by balancing on the attacker's right ankle and applying pressure to the wrist she is able to disable him while she mimes for help.

As the ballerina balanced on the ballet dancer's right foot, the choreographer insisted they remain in the position for well over an hour. Suddenly he realised why he couldn't make up his mind - it was impossible for the audience to see just how difficult the pose was - and so, reluctantly, he stuck with a fish dive.

Even though the steps were written in Braille on Albrecht's hand, the world's first blind ballerina was still having trouble with the one-handed pressage.

The ticklish Arionel was worried that Erina had suddenly changed the plot and was about to play Incy Wincy Spider.

As beautiful as she was, Arionel could only muster a half-hearted enthusiasm for Erina's mushy pea fetish.

After the crucifixion, the Romans stood bemused at the two street entertainers that were causing a stir with their so called ballet posing.

Lots of great entries - the caption competitions always seem to bring out the 'best' in us. There can only be one winner however and it's 'Phil' with:

"In a continuation of it's innovative marketing campaigns aimed at altering the public's perception of ballet, the ENB introduced a new form of self defence at a press conference today, it relies mainly on pressure pointes and is called Kung-Fouette.

In the photo Erina Takahashi demonstrates the Giselle technique, by balancing on the attacker's right ankle and applying pressure to the wrist she is able to disable him while she mimes for help."

Many thanks to all who entered.

Definitely a worthy winner - I was laughing for ages afterwards just remembering it! But I think JohnM's entry was also very funny though I suppose the 'all mouth and no trousers' applies to most (if not all) of ballet's 'heroes'.
