The "Go" button on the lobby is not working correctly, if you try to obtain a list of postings less that 14 days old. There are no posting missing; the dates on the control files are "up the Swanee" but the situation will improve as postings age.

There may well be some other issues; if you spot any do please let us know.

Traced to a corrupt database file - now resolved.

I'm pleased at say that we are now on new server hardware and with our full compliment of disks. That's good because each night the server backs itself up from one disk to another and this last 7 days we have not been able to do that. Other arrangements have been made but its just not the same.

While all seems well now (and I have had a good look around) I always say to expect the odd aftershock and this time is not different.

I'd stress that we don't believe we have lost any posts or other material across what has been a taxing period for us, but do email or post if you feel soemthing is amiss. While we think no posts have gone amiss, as Trog says, some parts of the Forum management aren't aware of when recent posts were made and so some searches, based on time constraints, are effected. That includes Read New type searches. The workround is to visit forums and open recent threads that you are interested in. However this will rapidly cease to be an issue as time moves on and we have not looked to devote time/energy to doing soemthing about this when it will really no longer be an issue within a couple of days.

While I'm at it, can I also say a big thank you to the photographers, especially John Ross, who share their wonderful images with us (we don't get to see much of the Royal in Cheshire!) Then there is the eclectic mix of weblog writers who offer such an arresting mix of thoughts and comments along with the reviews that bring performances alive for those not able to be there in person. Finally, where else would I find help and guidance on topics as diverse as knee injuries and tutu construction? The friendly and sharing nature of ballet co posters is always refreshing.
