The line-up for the closing Gala is also available. Lopatkina, Vishneva, Fadeyev, Sarafanov, Alexandrova, Tsiskaridze, Cojocaru, Kobborg, Lacarra and Corella are scheduled to participate.

"Carnaval" is Fokine's ballet reconstructed by Sergei Vikharev.

Thanks Susy. I understand that Bolle will partner Uliana Lopatkina in that Swan Lake performance on 21 March.

No, Ian, Nikolai danced Siegfried before in both - Bolshoi and Mariinky (with Nioradze) as well as on the Bolshoi'd tours. He admits that it is not his favourite role.

Although the inscriptions are in Russian I am sure you will recognize where the Siegfrieds are.

I noted today on the Mariinsky website, that the casting for all Swan Lakes, save that of the 21st, has been removed and replaced with "cast to be announced".

Moreover, the ballets for the 22nd (Carnaval, Pierrot Lunaire, and Reveil de Flore) have been removed from the listing. Also the guests who had been listed for the Gala are gone.

Any enlightenment Kevin? Anyone?

"For Four" is a ballet created by Christopher Wheeldon last year for the Kings of the Dance show. I understand that it will be danced in the Mariinsky Theatre this time by Andrian Fadeyev, Leonid Sarafanov, Vladimir Shklyarov, and Mikhail Lobukhin (?).
