Hi Rob,Of course I've seen Powder before - it's been on my "want to see again" wishlist for ages.
This work introduced me to Mozart's sublime clarinet concerto.
My memories of this piece are that it is, IMHO, very witty and enjoyable.
The ladies wear, what I would describe as, Mozartian corsets with long net skirts. The men don't wear very much!
Despite the men not wearing very much it is the ladies that I remember most from this, particularly Catherine Batchelor, Dorcas Walters and the sublime Ambra Vallo. I remember her blowing the powder at the end very vividly.
I am really pleased that this is back in the rep.
